A quick update

I just wanted to answer a few more questions people have posted and show some more of the TUF 9 cards.

Base cards will be a mix of individual fighter and personality cards as well as "UFC Debuts" that will feature the 2 fighters you participated in a particular persons first foray in a UFC Octagon.

There seem to be concerns about not getting autographs from the more established fighters and only having the opportunity to get autos from the TUF 9 competitors. Let me assure you of two things. One, these TUF 9 cards are limited (Aprox. 100-200 per subject) and we will also be including many of the top stars from UFC events including many current and past champions and title contenders. Bigger announcements on these subjects will be posted soon here on http://www.ufc-topps.blogspot.com/.

Until then, please take a look at the cards from the latest 4 competitors on TUF 9 and be sure to continue to post your questions and comments.

  1. Thanks for answering our questions.

Well i guess if it's more rare and on-card auto instead of sticker, then that would make up for it in the eyes of some people. I guess they can be viewed as prospect cards.

Will Dan Henderson and Michael Bisping be part of the TUF9 cards as coaches?

  2. I like the look of these auto cards. Especially considering they are on card autographs. Don't dog the fighter choices yet. Who knew fighters from past seasons would go on to be as good as they are now? I know I would love to have the first autographed card of guys like Diego Sanchez, Rashad Evans, Forrest Griffin, Kenny Florian, etc. I would also like to know if the TUF coaches are going to be part of the auto set.

  3. I would love to see the images of the unreleased Round 1 cards. BJ Penn, Huerta, Kongo, Kelley, Dual Mat Auto's.

An interesting fact is the NOGUEIRA/HERRING Mat Relic is only available as a dual auto. To me, that is the most valuable/rare of the Mat Relic cards.

  4. Great point Bones, that is one fact about the Nog/Heath Dual card that I hadn't realized. And that is a great request, I would love to see some Topps support and questions answered about Round 1 and not just the next big thing. Not complaining, very happy about the details provided but offering a revised checklist for Round 1 and images of some of the cards that Bones asked for would be great.

  5. Any word yet if there will be ticket redemptions in this series like there was in the last?

  6. Miah,

There are no UFC ticket redemptions in this upcoming product.
